Have a Safe Halloween

It's almost that time of year again when children go out trick-or-treating and have fun. We here at Miller Motor Sales want to wish you a safe and happy Halloween but also want to remind you to be alert as you drive on Halloween.

There are many children that will be hard to see in the dark and it is important to be aware. You should drive at least five mph under the speed limit and to expect that children will dart in front of your vehicle. In their excitement, that may forget to look for cars, or they may not be paying attention.

If you're driving trick-or-treaters, you should let them get out on the curb and give them flashlights to keep in their buckets, so they are more visible. Reflective tape and glow sticks are also very effective tools to keep children visible at dusk or when it is dark.
